Your Team
You're in charge of your health 24/7, but you shouldn't have to build a roadmap to success by yourself. Your Biobi Health team consists of a physician, dietitian, psychologist, and physiotherapist. We all have Western Medicine training and a root-cause approach to health. Seeing the gaps in preventive health care both personally and professionally, we're on a mission to give Canadians access to modern technology to optimize cardiovascular health. We collaborate to build your 5+5 Health Plan, ensuring every lifestyle habit and supplement is backed by a full spectrum of professional insight. Meet all of us at a free Walk & Talk in White Rock.

Dr. Jeff Obayashi
Medical Director and Founder
Clinical Instructor, UBC Faculty of Medicine
B.Sc. Genetics (UBC)
MD (UBC)
CCFP
After more than 15 years of practicing medicine across British Columbia, Dr. Obayashi founded Biobi Health to combine his genetics and medical degrees and shift his focus from reacting to disease to prevention. The first half of his career as a rural family doctor provided a strong clinical foundation from ER and OR to delivering babies and rural cardiac stress testing. Even the Biobi "Walk & Talks" have deep roots; they are a throwback to his teaching days when he founded an English-immersion program in Northern Thailand. Dr. Obayashi currently works as a Family Physician and Hospitalist in White Rock and is further specializing with training in functional medicine.
Dr. Obayashi serves as your personal physician for preventive care. While traditional clinical work is rewarding, it forces him to focus on negatives, red-flags, and breaking bad news. At Biobi Health he can focus on positives, your genetic strengths, and providing you with dozens of specific actions to improve your health, vitality, and quality of life.

"Doctor comes from the latin word to teach. Knowledge and giving Canadians access to modern technology is the key to long-term health improvements. We're not building this company to scale. I like to focus on one person at a time to improve their health trajectory. Advances in medicine shouldn't just make you live longer, they should make you live better."
